Use of employees with criminal justice backgrounds for responsible supervision

 
  SCI also provides behavior-specific counseling and education programs in such areas as substance abuse, batterer's treatment and values clarification. These programs are aimed at changing the behavior that subsequently resulted in the offender's involvement in the criminal justice system.
